The USD/Cryptocurrency toggle allows you to choose how your trade amount is displayed: either in US Dollars (USD) or cryptocurrency units (e.g., BTC, ETH).
Note: This toggle only affects how values are displayed. It does not convert, swap, or execute any currency exchange between USD and cryptocurrency. Switching between views simply lets you choose how you want to enter and view the trade amount.
Requirements
An active and funded BitcoinIRA account with trading enabled.
Sufficient funds in your Account to complete the desired transaction. See how to Add Funds here.
Instructions
Log in to your BitcoinIRA account at app.bitcoinira.com/login or via the BitcoinIRA mobile app.
Navigate to Self-Trading.
Ensure you’re using the intended Account for your order.
Determine if you want to Buy, Sell, or Convert.
Select the cryptocurrency you wish to trade from the drop-down menu.
Click the Toggle Button below to the Amount field to switch between entering your trade amount in USD or in Crypto units (e.g., BTC, ETH).
Note: The system automatically shows the equivalent value based on the latest real-time rate, updated every 15 seconds.Enter the Amount you would like to order.
*IMPORTANT* Review the Order Summary to verify the following:
The trade type is correct (Buy, Sell, or Convert).
The crypto asset is correct.
The amount is correct.
Once you have verified the details of your trade, read and check the disclosure box, then click Place Order.
A confirmation screen will appear verifying your order has been placed.
You can view the details of your order under Transaction History.
Please note, it can take up to 24 to 48 hours for a trade to fully settle, and for your new balances to update. Once your trade has settled, it will say Settled.
Additional Tips
Use the toggle to double-check trade amounts for better clarity, especially during volatile price changes.
